Life is a beach I'm just playing in the sand

I had that written out for like 2 hours, now I'm going to finish writing this haha.

okay so first thing is first
HALLOWEEN!

this was by far the funnest halloween of my liiife,
It was great, first we went on a class trip to Nara, and we got to go to this really cool temple called Jikoin Temple. and it had a tea room and stuff, its like a tea temple. anyways it was really awesome we got to participate in what the preist told us is not the tea ceremony! I actually forget what exactly he called it, I think...Tea apperication? anyways he talked to us about how we need to use all our senses in everyday life. And to just slow down and enjoy a cup of tea!
then we went to another temple and i honestly don't remember because it was really boring....

Okay then it was time for Halloween Party! :D
It was in Shinsaibashi which is in Osaka. It was hosted by the wonderful people at Whynot?!Japan, which is a group for inetnernaional people living in the Kansai area. they have job postings, housing listings, and tons of other stuff. best of all (hahaha) they host parties at local clubs and bars!:D
And all the parties are 18+! woo!

Anyways so Me, stephanie, allison, Jaclyn, went and met yuri, yuki, Mika, and marie in shinsaibashi
and i bougth a cheep school girl outfit for like 25$ which is awesome!

I was a ganguro; trying to look like this; (it was a look that was popular in Harajuku - a place in tokyo - in early 2000s)

Anyways! It was really fun--

it was all you can drink but surprisingly i didn't get drunk and i drank ALOT of tequila. but, I was also dancing non-stop so I would like have a drink, go dance it off, and then have another one, and vice verse, so it never really hit me at all x) And I danced with cute asian boys. and had creepers try to dance with me but i just shook them off hahaha :)

Anyways so that was awesome!

and then......... I think I just slept most of sunday... although something tells me I went and did something but I really can't remember... oh wait I remember, i spent 6 hours doing homework. because I had to write a bunch of essays....and I still have one I have to do. but it's not due untill Dec 3rd. See what I mean about life still being life regardless of the fact I'm in Japan? hahahaha.

Anyways the week was just... A normal week, I didn't go out or anything, and i just studied and stuff (:

oh! I finished my Calligraphy project for our school festival! it's awesome. :) It says seasons change, time goes on and never comes back. and then this thursday i think we are doing one more thing and then we are all ready for the school festival :D

So then, this last weekend!

I went to USJ (universal studios Japan) I seriously love that place! I want to work there! It would be so fun hahahaha. I went with my friend Natsumi, and she's hilarious. I was telling her about how being scared is just in your mind, and so if you think THIS RIDE IS GUNNA BE FUN! then it will be, but if you think OMG THIS IS TERRIFYING! then it will be. and so before like everyride she would be like "ah...Fun fun!" haha it was awesome! we road the jet coaster 3 times i think? or maybe just twice, and then another coaster just once, it was the newest one so the line was really long and our fast pass thing only worked once for each ride. We also rode the Spiderman Ride, Back to the future, JAWS, and Jurassic park! we also went and saw a Shrek short film in 4D! which means like you feel things too, it's crazy. and also a short terminator film also in 3D! we went to this 50s themed restaurant, and there was old fashioned jukeboxes! totally reminded me of my dad because all the songs were ones he loves hahah. we spent 10 hours there :) It was great <3

 

Then on sunday I went to Nara with my host family, there was a festival going on and we kind of walked around and checked it out. there was lots of like kids groups preforming dances. and there was one with a bunch of pretty boys dancing, i'm pretty sure they were only like 16 tho hahaha oh well :D

then after that I met up with my friend in Nara and we went to Namba and ate Ramen <3 because all last week in our media class we were watching this movie about Ramen haha. It was so good -- then we took puri annnd then we just walked around and then went home.

Then i woke up in the morning REALLY SICK! it was the weirdest thing becauseI was fine and i didn't feel it comming at all. then i woke up yesterday and my throat was killing me and my head felt like it was going to explode. so, I didn't go to school, and my host mom is still asking me if i want to go to the hostpical haha. I managed to go to school today but I still feel like crap, I have some homework but I haven't really started it because I feel so poopy and will probably just do it tomorrow (it's not due till thursday)

Also, I've been listening to Drake a lot lately, his lyrics are amazing, his mind is just, wow. I don't care if he swears like a sailor, his lyrics are deep and just, awesome. here are some quotes I got today from his Twitter that I loved; (some of them are him quoteing other people, but he doesn't say who, the ones with "" are him quoteing someone else)
