how's life?
My life is fantastic in every single way (:
I had a "holy crap I'm in Japan" moment today while on the train, it was crazy haha, I almost hate it when it hits me like that because I almost feel like crying, and it always seems to happen when I'm in public.
I really have been thinking lately that those who say they love Japan really don't even understand Japan enough to Love it. I'm saying this from my own experiance haha, I would know ;)
but really, what one loves about Japan is certain aspects, for me it was Music, Drama, and Fashion.
but when someone says something like "I love the life-style" or "I love the culture", really, they are just interested in it, or like the IDEA of it. Because I can say, living here, it is, SOOO different then anything I could've imagined.
Like I can truely say "I love Japan" now. , I really think you have to live here to understand it, but I'll accept if someones just visited haha, to really understand the words "I love Japan". BEcause now, if i meet someone and they are like "OMG I LOVE JAPAN" and i say "Have you been there?" and they say "No" I will just feel like saying "then you don't even know!!" and it wont be in a rude way just a "you have so much more ahead of you if you are truely passionate about it!" Like, "you don't even know! so I hope one day you go and expriance it so that you will really know how amazing it is!"
anyways, I don't even really know how to express everything I mean, cause it's hard to understand myself haha :P
So, Last week hahahah oh man, that was eventful.
Let's see.
okay so, last wednesday, haha ohhhh wednesday, okay.
We went on a club visit to the Kimono and Tea ceremony Clubs.
it was really fun we got to put on kimono and then we participated in a mini-tea ceremony while wearing said kimono and ya it was really interesting and the tea was so good haha :)
Just us, being us.
After that me and stephanie deicded it would be a good idea to go shopping for our outfits for the sports festival (I'll talk about that later on) and then grab some dinner, are first idea was to go to the irish pub, but then we were like, eeeeh, thats expensive. so we decided to just go to a convience store, grab some food and a few cold ones and just chill at the river.
It was I gotta say one of the most relaxing days I've had, it was nice to just sit, and talk and relax and the river was so nice.
Now, I want to say, I had absolutely NO intention of drinking a lot, I just wanted to have a drink with my dinner kind of thing.
Apparently we drank more then we thought. (I think Japanese beer has something in it because we really didn't drink alot, like 2 beer each O_o;)
Anyways, we stood up and were like "....oh....we're drunk" HAHA. it was actually REALLY funny. we weren't really really drunk, I dunno everyone has their own standards for being drunk, I'd say we were past pleasantly happy though hahaha.and then we had to pee really badly so we walk to the station (more like, hobble because we're both in heels)
and we find bathrooms
okay
if you guys aren't familiar with Japanese toilets, they look like this.
Ya squat and go
I finally realise that all thoes years of peeing in a horses stall paid off.
because I can use this baby while intoxicated, I think thats a feat.
Annnnyways,
So, we went to that irish pub, and then left, cause we were like, meh, too expensive hahaha
so we left, and then, were like, lets go home. hahahah
so ya.
like i said, we werent that drunk at all, esspically by that time, so I made it home all right, don't worry hahaha (I know you are probably shaking your head if you are reading this mom! :P and rebekah, and andrew , aand Dad, aaand nana hahah)
my host parents were laughing at me hahaha
