However I'm trying my best to be posative about it, instead of looking at it as "I'm not going to Vancovuer" as "I'm not leaving Victoria" See what I did thur? hahahaha

Vancouver and UBC situation; I'M STAYING IN VICTORIA.

Hey everyone! I know I said I was update this more often, but look its been 2 months and have I updated? nope.
wait, it's been 2 MONTHS?!
well maybe not that long
1.5 months?
That's still CRAY CRAY!
I can't believe its been that long since I have been to Japan! haha.
Anyways
This is my BIG life update.

I WILL NOT BE MOVING TO VANCOUVER OR GOING TO UBC.
Despite my excitment and all the plans I made, the one thing that was going to stop me, got its way.
UBC did not accept me into the arts program, I have no idea why, as I do have decent grades, (b+ average), but lots of things factor. Who knows. Looong story short, I wont be going and I will be staying in Victoria, and settling down here for the next two years.
I'm back on the hunt for a job so that I can pay my rent and school :)
I'm really dissapointed cause I was really looking forward to being in Vancouver, I love that city! and being near all my friends, but everything happens for a reason, it just wasn't ment to be right now!
So yes, that is the story!.

nothing else really going on in my life,
trying to plan a trip to Japan in August, gotta find out whats going on with work first, cause its a bit expensive to fly there in the summer, but we shall see.
Other then that I'm just dealing with my life as it is, doing homework and stuff.

Hey everyone!

Well as everyone knows, I'm back in Canada now. (Or at least, I hope you all know!) hahah
the last 2 or so weeks in Japan were really hard and emotional, but it was all worth it!

I ment to update this blog more when I was gone but I just didn't get the chance, I'm really sorry! but hey, would you want to be spending hours on the computer writing a blog if you were in another country? no I didn't think so! hahaha.
And most times I was on the comp I had homework! ahhh.
Anyways!!! enough excuses,
it is a new year and I'm going to try to keep this up to date!!

A few things just to update everyone.

I got back from Japan on Dec 23rd, and went back to my beautiful home town of Port McNeill for about a week to see my family and my friends, celebrate Christmas and all that before returning to Victoria.
The xmas holidays were pretty fun, Maaay of gotten drunk one too many times, but hey! it's pmac during the holidays , what else is there to do right? :P it was all fun, old friends and all that!

Anyways so I came back to Vic and have now started school, (BLEH.
I'm taking Japanese Language, Japanese culture, and Japanese Literature :)
Pretty good
except Japanese is seriously KILLING ME. >____<;
it's like, SO MUCH KANJI
but this is the path I chose for my life, so I have to study study study!!

I am also in the process of transfering to UBC.
I am just waiting for my transcripts from Japan!
hopefully I will be able to get everything in before feb 28th!
and then hopefully I will get in to UBC!
everyone pray and do voodoo dances or go to a shrine, whatever works!!! lmaooo
just send me all the good luck ! hahaha

Other then that nothing really is going on, just trying to live my life as best I can!!
I miss Japan EVERYDAY!
I don't think there is a day when I don't think about it, I want to go back as soon as possible!
but I also am trying to live happily, and not waste any time ^^

OOPS.

I have been meaning to write in this.
but i got like
a crap tone of essays, seriously like, 6 or 7 in about 3 weeks, which sucked
so i didn't feel like writing anything after I finished.
plus i've been so tired from all that and I havent been sleeping well ):
I think im geting more and more upset subconciiously about going home ahhaha
but don't worry erryone, I'm living everyday to the fullest.

uhm............. So.
the last time I updated was the party.
which was exactly a month ago....because the next one is this weeken d(im not going to it tho...well..im going to a diff party hahaha)
...again...oops.
 hahahaha.

soooo, that was the day of the school festival. I think. errrr..right? ya.
What has happened since then...........
ah yes.
the weekend after that was the CRAZY weekend
that Is one of thoes "what happened that weekend, stays at that weekend"??? hahahahha
It was wild and we ende dup staying in a karaoke box for the night haha (it's common to do that here, don't worry ahhaha)
it was really really fun.

uhmmm, ya like i said i spent most of my time doing essays and home work.

I went bowling!! it was so much fun hahaha, and we even got a bunch of like little cell phone charms and pictures with a picture stand it was amazing!! it was the coolest bowling place I have ever been too haha.
and then we went to conveyer belt sushi, which was DELCOUS.
and thenn, we went to karaoke for awhile.
and I sang a bunch of english songs no one else knew.
/headdesk. hahaha
and then i went to opa with Akiko <3
and it was awesome.

OH RIGHT
I went to see Yui!!!!!
Yui is my friend whom I stayed with llast febuary when I came to Japan :)
I went to Kobe (about an hour away) and we saw the Ruminare, which is a big illimination to raise money and stuff for the earthquake survivors, from the earth quake in....1994? or something, ya.
after that we went back to her house and i stayed the night with her awesome and crazy family
it was great to see them again :)
and it was amazin how much more japanese i ve learned! cause it was way easier to talk to them this time hahahaha!  then the next day we went shopping at outlet malls, t was great its a lot like outlet malls here, like all the stores were billabong and coach and stuff.
then we went to ONSEN! my first onsen experiance.
first we went into the saunas.
Ive never done well iwht saunas so I went in for a bit but then i came out and jsut read manga in this reading room hahahaha.
then we went into the Onsen.
for thoes of you who don't know,
and onsen is a public bath/hot spring.
so you go, get completely naked.
and then you shower in this shower room (there are sperate little shower stalls) where there are like 50 other naked women showering.
and then you get into the baths! and it's really relaxing actually and my skin felt amazing afterwards.
and it only takes like, i dunno...10 minutes and your over the fact that you are naked.
the only thing i was self concious about was my boobs, cause people wERE looking at them :p
after that i had to go home but it was so much fun, and great to see Yui again <3

Then i went back to study study studyyy

uhm I went out with Saya and Marie and we shopped and ate yummy korean food.
and I also hung out with Natsuki twice to go shopping
me and her always have so much free time it seems so I'm always hanging out with her hahahahah
hmm what else......

OH.
I saw Harry potter!!
it was okay.
I mean.
it was as good as it could of been
a few parts made me go WHAT THE HELL but for the most part it was alright.
it proably wouldve been better if people had just shut up and not gone on about how amazing it was, because then my hopes were up. all the crap about it being as good at the first two is wrong. nothing will beat the first two haha, they were just amazing.

anyways.
what else........

oh, I went to Den den town, which is like akihabara of Osaka. which is like nerd-ville haha
there was a gunda, shop and everything!!! it was awesome :P
but we didnt stay long cause it waskinda sketchy too ahahhaha and it was getting dark
so we went to Namba and took puri and then went to this, all you can eat fondu place! it was SO AWESOME.

last weekend Mizuki came from Nagoya to visit me <3 it was so much fun <3 hahahaha.
we went to kinkakuji temple, which is the Golden temple, and its so beautiful.
then we went to kiomizu which is one of the most famous temples in kyoto and it is also very beautiful, I've been there so many times but its so amazing everytime i go!!
I love it.
after that tho she had to go home ): and that was sad haha

then this week I have just been like spendinga lot of time with my host family cause I'm leaving soon, and studying up for my final japanese exam!!!

TIK TOK ON THE CLOCK--

Okay, so im writing this all down now before I forget.

okay so,

On FRIDAY;

I went to my schools festival and it was fun, I met a girl who lived in Canada! and saw my callligraphy--
everyone was telling me it looked great :D

uhm, and then there was a bingo party!
I didn't win anything tho haha
only like 3 of my numbers were called ):

So ya, after that I came home and hung out with my host family all night

then today,
I went to the school festival
and watched jaclyn do "Feeling couple" which is like
kinda bacholorette? looool they ask eachother questions
and then at the end if two people pick eachother then they are a couple
I think everyone chose jaclyn cause shes a cute white girl LOL
but ya, she got the guys number it was hilaroud and adorrable

anyways after that we wondered around and ate some more
but then we got bored
and went to karaoke for 2 hours

then!!!!!!!

We went to the Gael, my faaaaav Irish pub!
and there was an interntional party, like the one at halloween, also by Whynot?! Japan

SO MUCH FUN!!! hahahha
I love the geal, gunna go back this week and eat more fish and chips ;)

ahh i don't know where to start!

so we got there at 5, even tho the party started at 6, so that we could eat
so ya we ate some yummy fish and chips and then people started showing up and it got so croweded but it was still great

So, just to let you all know I didn't get stupid drunk, so you can stop being judgemental now lool.
but ya

SO SO.
it was all you can drink for 3 hours
and I got a few drinks
and then
we were all sitting in the booth talking and they started playing Ke$ha's tik tok
and like
how can you NOT dance right?
so we all started sining and dancing
this eventually led to us starting a friggin dance floor hahahaha
first it was like
2 people, then 3, then it was like 15 or so
thats not much but seriously before that the party was DEAD.

and at this point I really don't care, I just wanted to have fun, I'm leaving in a month, no boy drama please hahahah
 but it was fun dancing with cute boys :D

Ahh it was just so fun, dancing!

Hello Everyone :)

How are you all doing?

This week was pretty crazy
I had so much homework from being sick last week I felt like i was up till like 3 am everyday doing homeowkr ):
all caught up now!
just gotta study for japanese test on monday (:

Soo. ya.
Monday I didn't feel like going home right away so I went with Jacklyn and Allison to Shintanabe and we just walked around the Mall, and then we got donuts from Mr. Donut and we just talked , well I talked because I had a lot of built up anger and i ranted and felt so much better after <3

and then I traveled the like hour back to my house haha, and then studied and bed :)

tuesday was such an unproductive day haha, I went to school, came home right after, talked to people on the internet and then ended up staying up till like 3 talking to my sister <3
but it turned out to be a realyl good thing because i felt TONS better about some stuff afterwards :)
I guess that is what sisters are for :D

yesterday was So much fun
me and Akiko and Yukiko and Elitsa went to this alice and wonderland themed restaurant,
the door was like a revolving door that looked like a story book, with like quptes from Alice.
and then our waitress was alice! and ther ewas also the madd hatter and the queen of hearts
and the whole restaurant looked so cute <3 hahaha
and they played the movie in the background!

it was soo good too
it was like a course style
so they bring you 6 courses
one at a time
it was so yummmmyyy
kind of expensive but worth it!

before that we also went to this little cafe in kyoto , which was ADORABLE
it was in like a traditional styled japanese house and it was just
SO CUTE
we ate upstairs so we had to climb up this really narrow stair case
and then we had REALLY good cake haha :)

Hey everyone-

I had a very mellow week because I was still feeling really sick ):

On thursday at calligraphy club, we wrote ema (its like a wood thinger that you write a wish on) and I wrote that I hope I can get into UBC (:

anyways i think those will be on display at the calligraphy corner, at the school festival happening this weekend !

I'm pretty excited, and then we have one more club meeting on thursday and then thats it! school festival time!

I'm sad because a lot of my friends don't seem intersted in the school festival but I've never been to one so im SO excited, but no ones comming! hahaha xD 

well it's actually cause a lot of my friends go to the other campus, which is in Osaka, not kyoto, so they don't wanna come all the way to kyoto I guess x)maybe...

Anyways

yesterday (saturday) we went to Takarazuka, which is an all-girls theatre company.

they have like a school that starts for girls after they finish junior high and they only accept 40 girls a year.

They have HUGE fan clubs, for the stars of the company, who are called the "top stars" 

and it's crazy

I really don't understand why...like, at al

to me, it was just a nice play.

the girls who played boys did a good job, but I still had a hard time figureing outs ometimes who was a boy and who was a girl, but they still did a great job, and the costumes were amazing, but it wasn't like, broadway.

but the fans are CRAZY in love with these actors, it's just... I don't understand haha

the fans even like clean their apartments and everything, it's nuts.

Also the company is SUPER secretive, we watced a documentary but its from 1994 and none have been made since bcause takarazuka didn't like it. 

I feel like its a world I would like to stay away from, it sounds dramatic (lololol pun)

Next week we are going to talk to an ex-member of Takarazuki

I think it wil be interesting, I have to think of 3 qiestions so im going to ask her

"what was it like having your fans do all of your chores"

"was it hard being around only girls for so long, did you ever have really big fights with your co-workers"

"What age did you start"

Are thoes offensive at all? I don't think so! hahaha

Anyways after we left takarazuka (it's acutally a city too, where the theatre is xD)

Me and Marie, Saya, Marie (yes there are two hehe) and me went to Karaoke- Elitsa was gunna come too but she felt too sick/tired ):

We went there for 2 hours, and i rocked some Biebs! And some taylor swift ;D it was so fun haha

after that we went to dinner and we ended up staying there for almost 3 hours! didn't get back on the train home untill 10:30, which ment i didn't walk in my door untill 11 haha

it was so much fun though

I feel liek I'm making some real friends here, which is nice, i mean I've met so many girls sometimes I don't even remember who is who, but The ones I'm getting close with are just great, I love all of you! |(you know who you are!!)

Also I was finally able to talk about some stuff with them last night that I haven't talked about to anyne else in Japan, which felt so amazing hahah, it's weird cause I usually don't talk about things like that.

then today (sunday)

I woke up at 11, ate lunch, fell back asleep at 1 until 3, did homework, ate dinner, did homework. and now im writing this and then going to bed hahaha
